MJA co-chairs eSOUSCC48, Melissa wins prize
MJA co-chaired and co-hosted eSOUSCC48 - the first virtual Southern Ontario Undergraduate Student Chemistry conference in the the meeting’s nearly 50-year history - with Ryerson colleague Prof. Stefania Impellizzeri. After being forced to cancel the physical conference just days before its planned date of March 14, 2020, MJA and SI completely revamped the conference to offer it online.
At the conference, MJA lab researcher Melissa D’Amaral won an award for Outstanding Oral Presentation in Organic Chemistry…congratulations, Melissa! MJA Lab researcher (joint with Impellizzeri group) Ali Yaghoubian also gave a fantastic talk on his (very exciting) work…congrats, Ali!
